Curriculum Vitae


Fr. Brian Prunty, O. Praem. was ordained two years after the close of the Second Vatican Council. His experience includes high school, college and university teaching (sociology, psychology and theology), pastoring an inner city parish and high school, and practicing medicine (physician assistant) at Cook County Jail Hospital in Chicago and at St. Clotilde, deep in the Amazon rain forest of Peru. Presently, Brian is chaplain to St. John Homeless Shelter and teaches at St. Norbert College.


The Holy Cross Parish Spiritual Life Committee
The purpose of the Spiritual Life Committee is to make available to members of the parish a means to grow in their spirituality. The committee works together to provide retreats, special Liturgical Seasonal sessions and social gatherings that enhance their understanding of the Catholic faith.
