May Perpetual Light Shine Upon Him

Don G. Aldrich, 67 of Green Bay passed away peacefully at home May 1, 2011. He was born May 20, 1943 to the late Harold and Stella (Brockman) Aldrich. Don retired from Georgia Pacific after 41 years of service to the company. He then worked part time at the De Pere Foundry. Don had a passion for Harley Davidson Motorcycles, Fire Trucks, and was a avid collector. He was also a author and poet. The greatest joy in his life was his family and friends.

He is survived by his children; Wes (Barb) Aldrich, Laura (Jim) Fencl, Wayne (Holly) Aldrich, his special friend Carol Melville, his five grandchildren and 1 step grandchild; Katie, Kelly, Andrea, Becky, Cory and Jadyn. Don's siblings further survive him; Ruth Ann (James) Roffers, Harold (Francine) Aldrich, Beverly Kinnard, Elaine Jourdan, Evelyn Aldrich, June Janz, Eileen (Ed) Janz. The mother of his children Linda Aldrich, and many nieces and nephews also survive.

Don was preceded in death by his brothers in law; Hubert Jourdan, and Levi Hampton, as well as his in laws; Rosie Bunker, Jake Wildfong and nephew David Wildfong.


Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street De Pere from 4 – 8pm Wednesday with a parish service at 7:45pm to bring the evening to a close.

Visitation will continue after 9am Thursday at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Bay Settlement until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11am with Fr. Tom Hagendorf O.Praem officiating.
