Sunday, March 6 at 2:00 pm
St. Norbert Abbey Church

This is a benefit concert for the Nicolet Knight Reading Program and SS. Peter & Paul Food Pantry, ministries and outreach programs where Norbertine Volunteer Community members serve. The public is invited to bring food items or monetary donations to support these charity programs.

St. Norbert College Chamber Singers, Women’s Chorus and Men’s Chorus
Dr. Sarah Parks and Dr. Michael Rosewall, Conductors
Elaine Moss and Jeff Verkuilen, piano and organ

Music includes traditional works by Handel, Vaughan Williams, and Tavener and features new compositions by SNC composer Blake Henson and Catholic composer Father Michael Joncas.

The Nicolet Knight Reading Program pairs SNC students with elementary school children who struggle with dyslexia, assisting with comprehension, retention and confidence. This program is coordinated by Angela Knutson, Norbertine Volunteer Community member. Any monies donated during this event will allow Angie and the M3C student mentors from SNC purchase books to gift the elementary students with whom they have been working all academic year.

SS. Peter & Paul Food Pantry is coordinated by Lindsay Koeppel, Norbertine Volunteer Community member on behalf of the parish. The Pantry assists families by providing food collected to neighbors in need who live within the parish neighborhood.
