Holy Cross Students Explore Beneath the Earth

This summer seven students joined Mr. Johnson in walking, creeping, sliding and crawling through three different caves in Chilton, Wisconsin. Students were led by an experienced guide to depths of 45 feet below the Earth’s surface. Students were presented with many opportunities to learn about the history of the caves and surrounding areas, as well as time to explore some very tight spaces within the caves. This trip was made possible by the Holy Cross Auction.
