From a press release on the Green Bay Diocese website:
Starting in September, the Family and Married Life Office of the Diocese of Green Bay will offer engaged couples an optional day focused entirely on the Sacrament, Theology, and Intimacy of marriage as God planned it to be.
This one-day workshop was developed from the book "Man and Woman He Created Them: A Theology of the Body." The book is based on 129 of Pope John Paul II's general audience speeches.
"This material leads us to the core of who we really are; who God has called us to be. This then leads us to discover who we are to be for each other," said Dr. Helen Scieszka, Family and Married Life Director of the Diocese of Green Bay.
"God's Plan for a Joy-Filled Marriage" is an in-depth look at human sexuality and marriage at which couples will explore ways to be in a relationship with God and to experience true intimacy with each other.
Sessions will be held in Appleton and Green Bay from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays.
Registration is limited to 100 couples per session. On-line pre-registration (click links below) and payment are required.
