After thoroughly investigating the life of a Pilgrim boy and girl, the Third Grade enjoyed creating and wearing their Pilgrim attire.
The Third Grade enjoyed collecting fall leaves and displaying them in unique booklets. They completed their study of leaves by classifying them according to leaf shape, vein pattern, edges, and simple or compound blades. They were truly practicing their scientific observational skills.
After completing a unit of study on the continents and oceans, the Third Grade became junior cartographers. They constructed maps of the world locating and labeling the seven continents and four oceans.
