In Spanish class this month at Holy Cross Catholic School, students will hear about the upcoming holiday Dia de los Muertos. This is the Day of the Dead which is celebrated on November 2nd.
The 8th grade class has been learning vocabulary involving sports. Each 8th grader will be working with a partner as he/she talks about a favorite sport.
The 6th and 7th graders have been working on simple conversations that have greetings and farewells. Many new vocabulary words are being used from their textbooks.
Grades K through 5 have been studying clothing this month and soon the individual students will be "packing luggage" with a variety of useful clothing vocabulary.
