HCCS third graders embraced Japanese classmates

Submitted by Mrs. Mary Wennesheimer

The Third Grade welcomed our visitors from Japan, Sakurako and Hikari, to our classroom this spring. We read several books on Japan, used our map skills locating Japan, watched several informative videos, and found an interactive web site -- Kids Web Japan -- to help us learn more about our friends' home. We also were excited to share our field trip to the Wild Life Sanctuary with them.
