Holy Cross Catholic School students in grades K-8 attended the Living Way of the Cross during Holy Week. The dramatization of the last week of Jesus' life was put on by students from Shepherd of the Hills Catholic School, which is located in Eden, Wisconsin. The performance took place at St. Bernard Church.
The dramatization was brought to the Green Bay area thanks to the Faculty at HCCS. HCCS students traveled to Eden last year; and the faculty, parents and students were so moved by the performance that arrangements were made for the Shepherd of the Hills students to come to the Green Bay area this year.
HCCS teacher Mrs. Beth Kruczek said the Living Way was an "awesome experience" for her 22 kindergartners.
"It was truly a heartfelt and moving experience!" commented Mrs. Kruczek. "I am glad we were able to attend. I think it made the story that we hear often during Holy Week come to life."
