Submitted by Mrs. Mary Lardinois
Spanish classes K through 6 have finished "La casa." The students now can take a walk through their homes and identify different items in each room.
We are moving ahead to a short number review and in grades 2 through 6 we will be practicing telling time. At the beginning of class each day, we will continue the policy of discussing the weather in Spanish.
In grades 7 and 8, we are learning how to talk about different foods and drinks and will begin a chapter on "La escuela." (school)
I can happily say that our kindergarten and first grade classes sound pretty good with the "Hail Mary" and the "Pledge of Allegiance."
Our 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade students are praying the "Our Father" now and grades 5 through 8 are learning the "Apostle's Creed." As I look forward to the next school year, I eagerly anticipate all 6th, 7th and 8th graders studying from the "Bravo" textbook.
