Spanish classes learn about "la casa ," Apostles Creed

Submitted by Mrs. Mary Lardinois

In Spanish class in grades K-6 at Holy Cross Catholic School, we are continuing our conversations about "la casa." Soon, each student should be able to stroll through his own home, naming the rooms and specific items in the house. I encourage each student to use Spanish at home.

Grades 5-8 are presently learning the Apostle's Creed in Spanish. What a beautiful prayer it is! At the beginning of every Spanish class, we begin with prayer and pledge of allegiance.

Spring is finally here! Weather is a topic we also include in our class.

It is my belief that language is meant to be spoken. Therefore, each student is expected to participate aloud, appropriately, in class.
