Spanish classes, kindergarten through sixth grade at Holy Cross Catholic School, are studying animals through song, story and picture. The "Farmer in the Dell" is now "El Granjero en su Valle." Children are asking one another what animals are on the farm and answering one another with a variety of vocabulary words. "Que hay en la granja?"
The 7th and 8th graders are asking one another required information such as last name, address, telephone numbers, age and location. They are becoming more confident in knowing this information and communicating in Spanish!
