HCCS eighth graders lend a helping hand

Submitted by Mr. Jason Johnson

On Monday, March 9th, 2009 the Holy Cross 7th and 8th grade students visited Paul’s Pantry to perform a Lenten Service Project. The students of Holy Cross processed 2,000 pounds of Navy Beans and 1,000 bottles of shampoo in two and a half hours. HC students also donated the hundreds of brown paper bags and egg cartons that people have been bringing into the school.

The Paul's Pantry project is one of several that the 7th and 8th graders have spearheaded this school year. To read about their efforts, please click here.
