Could your soul use a vacation? Hang on, help is on the way!

A press release from the Green Bay Diocese website:

Make a "pilgrimage" to the 2009 Spirituality Fair on Saturday, May 9, at St. Paul Parish in Wrightstown (link to map). The daylong event is free and open to all! It will feature several kinds of prayer, personal comfort/reflection time, spiritually themed vendors and a variety of speakers. You are welcome to come and go throughout the day -- catch a favorite speaker or take them in!

Speakers include:
Father Bob Thorn, who will present “What shall I do Lord?” Father Bob served in the Peace Corps and worked as an accountant and as a teacher of Transcendental Meditation for many years. Following a powerful conversion experience in 1986, he came back to his faith. Father Bob was ordained a priest in 1999, served as a Capuchin Franciscan and then began serving as a diocesan priest for the Diocese of La Crosse in 2002.

Dr. Susan Mountin, Ph.D., will present “Have you packed yet? Life as Pilgrimage.” She has been director of the Manresa Project at Marquette University since 2002 where she also served as a campus minister and adjunct faculty member since 1977. She was formerly associate editor at the Milwaukee Catholic Herald and US Catholic magazine. She teaches courses on Dorothy Day and the Catholic Worker Movement, Ignatian Spirituality and Social Justice/Social Activism.
