With Sympathy on Behalf of the Holy Cross Parish Family

David R. Tegtman, Sr., 77, Green Bay, died on Wednesday, March 11, 2009. He was born May 29, 1931, in Illinois, to Walter and Clara (Krueger) Tegtman. David served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. After his discharge, he moved to Green Bay in the 1960's and pursued work as a carpenter. David progressed in his professional career, retiring from the City of Green Bay as a building inspector. He was an avid golfer, hunter and fisherman.

Survivors include three children and their spouses, Debbie and George Wilson, Dennis Tegtman, Dave and Vicki Tegtman Jr.; five grandchildren, Gabrielle, Garret, Erica, Janelle and Kristen; a great-granddaughter, Chloe Rae; four sisters and a brother, June Azzolin, Linda Larsen, Lori Porter, Don Tegtman and Carol Tegtman; his children's mother, Laura Lee (McManus) Tegtman; other relatives and friends.

Friends may call at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 3009 Bay Settlement Road, Green Bay from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. Tom Hagendorf O.Praem officiating.
