The students at Holy Cross Catholic School enjoyed their Beach Dress Day this week thanks to the Principal-for-the-Day, Emily Walczyk. Emily's parents bid on the item at the annual auction last year.
Principal-for-the-other-364 days, Mrs. Robin Jo Jensen, commented on the Beach Dress Day: "The students had to use some serious creative thinking skills, visualizing a WARM, SUNNY, WHITE SANDY BEACH....rather than the COLD, SUNNY, SNOWY BEACH that we really had to deal with! The beach dress day gave us a much needed mental break from the winter BLUES!"
Principal-for-a-Day will be offered again at this year's auction. Proceeds from all auction items directly offset the amount of tuition families pay. Think about bidding on this item for your favorite HCCS student(s) at the Hand in Hand Auction on April 18th!
